Jimmy Bradley's is a great Irish Bar. It's kind of hidden back behind the Hotel Intercontental at Sienna 39, but the entrance is off Zlota. We at Hoodoohat consider it the new Hoodoohome for the great beer and great live concerts. Hope to see you there soon.

It's the expat bar people wind up in at midnight – and the one they struggle home from at four in the morning. Check out the restaurant upstairs, Kwai, which has hot curries, good drinks and great everything else.

Revamped for live music, the Warsaw Tortilla Factory has become a great place for live menus. We’ve had good luck there – and the sound system is killer. There is usually live music there a minimum of three times a week, ranging from acoustic music to alternative to blues to rockabilly. Always a good pick.

Very cool club in Warsaw's Zoliborz district. The band hasn't played there yet, thanks to a small accident that sidelined Smith briefly, but always good for great concerts in a small-club setting. Recommended.

Praying Mantis Kung Fu led by Shifu Slawomir Mielczarek. Helluva teacher, great school. The site is in Polish, but as I understand it the school will be expanding soon, so more is to come.
